Q: Why is your logo a water wheel?
A: The watermill is a symbol of the old profession of a Millwright. These highly skilled craftsmen were responsible for construction of wood or metal products that required a great deal of precision engineering and design. Although there were plenty of carpenters and blacksmiths in the old country and colonial Americas, the millwrights were fewer in numbers and required many more years to hone and perfect their skills. To be recognized as millwright was a reflection of not only your abilities, but also your focus to detail and dedication to perfection. Our philosophy here at Kenyon Fabricating is very similar to those of the old world millwrights. We strive to exemplify perfection and skill in every job we undertake.
